Wow. I hope some speech writer somewhere got "talked to" about this one.
As much as I hate the guy, I don't think he directly holds the blame here. (See Zahra's comment above.) And I think a presidential speech on integrating Muslim values in the American community--though riddled with factual errors--is in general a positive step.
